We have decided to extend the remix competition close date to January 25th as we have received some requests for a little more time and we want you to do a great job!

Kaleidoscope Remix Competition!!!
THRUST RECORDINGS ‘KALEIDOSCOPE’ REMIX COMPETITION!!!
To celebrate the release of the new ‘Kaleidoscope’ album we are holding another remix competition. ‘Reach Out’ and ‘Step Off’ are being remixed and the winners will secure a place on the Kaleidoscope Remixed Album alongside a long list of heavyweight superstar remixers.
Feel free to do anything you wish with the parts and your own remix but do keep in mind the style and sound of Thrust Recordings. You can pick either track or both to remix. It’s up to you! We will decide which one we like the best.

3rd Prize – Your mix will be featured in a special free download pack of bonus album mixes
The remix parts tracks come bundled with the album or you can get them separately. Please make sure that you download the parts as FLAC or a WAV or AIFF. The remix parts are only available on Bandcamp or Beatport.
The deadline for remix entries is January 11th 2015.

Winners announced for the Thrust Remix Competition!
Well that was a tough one, so many good entries from all over the World from as far as Australia, Far East, all over the USA and right across Europe. We had a great response to the competition and knew the parts were getting into some good hands from the start.
We loved how there were so many different takes on Tribal Tension and we want to congratulate everyone of you for your amazing efforts! The winners were judged on a few different categories ranging from Production Technique, Use of the original parts, Mixdown, Does it fit on the label? etc…
Now for the Winners!
1st Place – Phase Animator, Australia
We loved the production with the use of the original parts and it’s pure Tech Funk!
2nd Place – DJ Manaia, Portugal
The use of the percussion is amazing in this mix, DJ Manaia really gave it energy.
3rd Place – Kostas G, UK
This mix grooves beautifully, we love the simplicity and late night feel of it.
The winning Remix will be released on Thrust as part of the Retrospective Remix release later this year and all 3 winners will be receiving their choice of Sample Packs from Sample Station and Lee Coombs.
This competition was very hard to judge, we want to congratulate every one of the people who entered and hope you had fun doing it.

Thrust Retrospective Remix Competition
Welcome to the Thrust Recordings Remix competition. As a celebration of the forthcoming release Thrust Retrospective Vol 1 mixed by Lee Coombs we are remixing one of Thrust’s most classic releases, Lee Coombs and the DrumAttic Twins – Tribal Tension. Now we’re giving you the chance to make your own version. You have total freedom on what to do, but obviously if we are to release the track it must be relevant to our style and sound. Good luck and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
